Hmm yeh Ive never put theme versions in filenames. I know people dont like this, but I dont like putting versions in filenames. Hence the reason the metadata versioning come about. As iamsthitha said, its possible to get all that info via the wonderful API thats in place.
@barbieri - I didnt do any of the gadgets simply because I haven't settled on an icon theme yet. Once that goes in, Ill be making the gadgets look more like the icons so its nice and unified. I guess give the clock a refit aswell when that happens.
